This piece was inspired by Issue 61 of Geez Magazine Contemplative Cultural Resistance called “Seeds are Sacred,” centered around food, spirituality, & justice. There is something spiritual about digging our hands in the dirt. The hand meshes with the compost; we are all made of the same substance.
