This original linocut print of the 3 wise women is inspired by the 2023 Los Angeles Catholic Worker Christmas Appeal about how folks on skid row give from their poverty to their community. It takes the generosity of community to get all of our needs met. It’s also important to visualize and imagine old stories with new modern realities - the work of women in our communities often goes unnoticed, and yet is necessary and profound. Here are 3 Wise Women recognized to uplift this work. Published as the cover art of December 2023 Catholic Agitator newspaper.
